Meet the team –

Dr. Andy Polyachenko

Dental Boutique Dentist

Dr. Andy Polyachenko is a Melbourne local, having grown up in Bayside and completed Brighton Grammar School as Dux of his year. Having undergone significant dental treatment as an anxious child patient, Dr. Andy became motivated to become a dentist and try to give patients the best possible experience in the chair. With a natural love for handy work, and coming from a family of medical professionals, dentistry was the perfect career choice.

Dr. Andy graduated from the Griffith University and worked for a number of years in private practices across Melbourne prior to joining Dental Boutique. He loves both restoring the function and aesthetics of his patients’ teeth. Drawing from his own experience, Andy’s main goal is making sure the patient leaves 100% satisfied with both the experience and outcome they have had with their treatment. This involves being able to empathise with patients’ fears about dental work and also going above and beyond with delivering the best possible result.

Andy is highly skilled in both the surgical (implants/all-on-4) as well as the restorative (veneers/crowns) side of cosmetic dentistry. Since graduating, Andy believes that you can never stop learning and continues to attend a plethora of professional development courses so that he can always offer his patients the best treatment options. Andy’s further qualifications include: Invisalign accreditation, multiple implant/surgical courses both in Australia and overseas, Melbourne Dental School’s crown lengthening accreditation and extensive training on anterior aesthetics under well known Australian prosthodontists.

Andy’s caring nature has also meant he has dedicated some time to giving back through volunteer work. This includes trips to Cambodia where across a couple of weeks he performed necessary dental work on primary school children who otherwise would not have access to such care. Further to this, he has also provided dental care to remote Aboriginal communities in rural Queensland. The volunteering visits also focused on educating these disadvantaged groups on how to care for their oral health and prevent further disease.

Outside of dentistry, Andy enjoys travelling, reading and exercising. One of his proudest achievements is recently completing a week long hike to Machu Pichu in Peru. Dr Andy is also a very keen Essendon Bombers supporter – he remains hopeful their luck will turn soon.

My passion is to give my patients the best possible experience in the chair.
