Dr Suma Bayat holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Distinction and Council Commendation from the University of Otago in New Zealand. She brings years of professional experience from both Wellington, New Zealand, and Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In Wellington, Dr Suma worked in a family practice providing comprehensive general dental care. She also provided relief of pain services one day a week at the Department of Corrections within the public sector. Dr Suma then gained overseas experience, working at one of Dubai’s leading cosmetic dental clinics. Here, she collaborated with skilled clinicians with the workflow and attention to detail essential for creating exceptional smiles.
Suma’s diverse experience allows her to connect with patients from all walks of life. She understands how scary going to the dentist can be, and believes that empathy, a gentle touch, and trust are key to easing those fears. At the heart of her practice is a commitment to listening to her patients’ concerns and helping them understand how to desing a smile that complements their unique features.
Dr Suma enjoys all the various aspects of dentistry, from smile transformations with composite or porcelain veneers to Invisalign treatment and general dentistry that looks after the longevity of her patients’ teeth. She is an Invisalign Go provider and a Member of the New Zealand Academy of Cosmetic Dentists (NZACD).
