Originally from Toronto, Canada, Dr. Yasmin completed her Honors Bachelor of Science in Medical Science and Biology before earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Sydney. Her commitment to excellence was recognised with the prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academy Foundation Scholarship for academic achievement and leadership, underpinned by four years of service as an elected executive for the Sydney University Dental Association. This experience further deepened her dedication to the profession and her passion for advocacy within the dental community.
Dr. Yasmin has undergone further training in porcelain veneers, composite bonding, digital smile design, clear aligners and facial injectables in both Australia and internationally. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Aesthetic Dentistry at the prestigious King’s College London, refining her ability to craft beautiful, healthy, and lasting smiles. Her lifelong commitment to education ensures that her patients receive the highest standard of care, benefiting from the latest advancements in dental treatment within an environment where they feel genuinely cared for.
Beyond her clinical expertise, Dr. Yasmin is actively involved with the Australian Dental Association NSW, where she currently serves on two influential committees. Her leadership in these roles reflects her drive to advance dentistry, advocate for patients, and contribute to the profession’s ongoing development.
Dr. Yasmin places a strong emphasis on patient-centered care, taking the time to listen to each patient’s concerns, thoroughly explain treatment options, and tailor care to their unique needs. She is especially passionate about helping patients feel at ease, ensuring their experience is as stress-free as possible. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Yasmin enjoys playing piano, guitar, and singing—you may even find her performing in local musical productions! She is deeply devoted to giving back to the community, having worked in both private and public practices across rural and regional NSW, as well as volunteering with initiatives such as Dental Rescue Day, Sydney Homeless Connect, and international humanitarian efforts.
