Background:
Geva Mentor is an England Netball International player who has competed in 6 Commonwealth Games, being widely regarded as one of the greatest defenders in sport. She was selected for the senior England squad when she was just 15 years old, having her skills recognised by coaches such as Tai Taumaunu and Julie Hoornweg. Since then, she has represented the Roses team internationally for many years, competing in multiple world cups. Mentor also played in domestic netball leagues, including the Netball Superleague in the UK and various netball leagues in Australia, including the Suncorp Super Netball league.
