Thinking about improving your smile but concerned about the costs involved? Watch this video of Dr Reuben discussing how you can achieve your dream smile without breaking the bank and within your budget.

One of the key questions that I get from time to time is, how can I get a smile that I want without going broke or without spending too much money at once? When you do a smile makeover example, you’ve got to take it with a pinch of salt because, imagine this, when you go to a restaurant and you look at the menu on a restaurant and you’ve got the entrees, mains, dessert. Now, you can pick and choose what you want when you are in the restaurant. You might be happy to just have the mains and a glass of water and be really happy, have a full tummy, go home, and watch TV. Or, you can have the entrees, mains, dessert, glass of champagne, order of red wine, whatever it is.

Now, you will enjoy the night a lot more because you get to spend more time with the family, you’re going to enjoy better food, better drinks, but of course, the bill goes higher. That goes without saying. When you do cosmetic dentistry, it’s quite similar. For example, when you’re smiling and you see 10 teeth in the mirror, but you might have three to four, or six teeth that you don’t quite life. You might want to just focus on those few teeth, as opposed to going all the way to the back because that will give you the main result.

Now, with that being said, the more teeth you do toward the back, the nicer the result is, but it means that the big goes higher. Most of the time, it’s got to do with the first few front teeth that gives you the biggest bang for your buck. You might want to do mains and a glass of water, which might be two front teeth or six front teeth depending on your situation, and you might then go for the back as the time goes longer. You can also choose to do veneers, for example, from a period of time. You don’t have to do it all in one go.

You can always go back to the restaurant, for example, after having a main meal and a glass of water and you find, “Hm, I actually quite like the food.” Then, you go to the restaurant and maybe get the entrees this time, plus the main meal. So, cosmetic dentistry is quite similar. You can pick and choose the number of veneers you want based on your budget, based on what your intentions are, and what you would like your smile to be. There you go in terms of how to get a good smile with a certain limited budget. Speaker 1: Now, the other thing that you might want to consider is that when you see a dentist for cosmetic consult, you want to be certain that the dental practise or cosmetic practise actually offers some payment plan of some sort. Now, payment plans, for example, can actually give you a chance to actually get something you want without needing to fork out a large sum of money initially. You can pay it off over 15 months, 24 months, even up to 36 months, sometimes longer.

That way, you can spread the payment for a long period of time without needing to worry about forking out a big chunk of deposit, which could be used for something else so that at least you can get a smile that you want before moving forward. That being said, always work within your means, always work within your budget. Any good cosmetic dentist that you see will actually help you get a smile that you want within your budget because the last thing that we do as professionals is to want you to be stressed finally or emotionally because of the money that you need to spend to get a smile that you want.

That’s the last thing we want to do any of our patients to go through. We always want to work within your means, your budget, but at the same time give you the smile that you want to actually fulfil your desires and your wants. Hopefully, when you listen to this video there’s two things to remember: one, find a practise, a cosmetic practise that offers you payment plans. Secondly, ensure that you work within your budget. Pick and choose the number of teeth that you would think would make the most difference initially and slowly you can always work backwards.

With that being said, one thing, always get a small design when you do that as well. You might think that four teeth will give you the best result with the budget, but you might think or the dentist might share with you that you may need only two, for example. Get them written down, get that seen, so that you get the best value for your money. These are the two tips to allow you to get cosmetic dentistry within a budget and hopefully this helps.

If you know someone who is keen to do something like this, but they are struggling in terms of what they can afford or in terms of what they can achieve, feel free to send this video to them because it might actually help them make a decision to move forward with the treatment. Bye for now and thanks for listening.
