Sandie graduated from Melbourne University in 2014 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery, having previously studied degrees in nature illustration and vision science with honours at Newcastle and Sydney Universities respectively. She then spent 9 years in general dentistry treating a broad range of patients across the many fields of dentistry, from small to large complex cases.
Through this experience, Sandie developed a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, completing a Digital Smile Design residency, and attending postgraduate courses in veneers and cosmetic dentistry. Sandie feels that her artistic passion has led to her focus on cosmetic dentistry. This artistic background best enables her to design highly detailed, tailor-made smiles for patients to boost their confidence and allow them to smile again with pride.
Being involved in this transformation in confidence is the most rewarding part of Sandie’s job and something she greatly cherishes. Outside of work, Sandie enjoys life with her husband and 2 little girls, she enjoys doing art and playing piano, running and snow skiing.
Being part of a transformation in confidence by making patients smile broadly and proudly is the most rewarding part of being a dentist.
