At Dental Boutique™ Wollongong, we provide comprehensive dental implant treatment for patients across Wollongong and the Illawarra region, with personalised treatment plans designed to support your long-term oral health and individual goals.

Dental implants require careful planning, which is why every treatment at Dental Boutique™ Wollongong begins with a comprehensive assessment. During your consultation, our dentists evaluate your oral health, discuss your goals, answer your questions and determine the most appropriate treatment approach for your individual circumstances.
Our Wollongong clinic is equipped with in-house CBCT imaging and digital treatment planning technology to support every stage of your treatment. Whether you’re replacing a single tooth or considering a full-arch solution, our team provides comprehensive dental implant treatment, from consultation and planning through to surgery, restoration and ongoing care.

A dental implant is a fixed replacement for a missing tooth that replaces both the tooth and its root. It consists of a small titanium implant that is placed into the jawbone, where it integrates with the surrounding bone to create a stable foundation. Once healed, a custom-made dental crown, bridge or full-arch restoration is securely attached, replacing one, several or all missing teeth.
Unlike removable dentures, dental implants are fixed in place and are designed to look, feel and function like natural teeth. With good oral hygiene and regular dental care, they can provide a long-term solution for replacing missing teeth.
As with any surgical procedure, dental implant treatment carries potential risks. Your dentist will discuss these with you, along with the benefits and any alternative treatment options, before treatment begins.

Your consultation is an opportunity for us to understand your concerns, assess your oral health and determine whether dental implants are the most appropriate treatment for your individual circumstances.
We’ll discuss your goals, examine your teeth and gums, assess your bone levels using 3D CBCT imaging where required, and explain your treatment options in detail.
If dental implants are right for you, we’ll develop a personalised treatment plan outlining the recommended treatment, expected timeframes and associated costs, giving you the information you need to make an informed decision.

Our Wollongong clinic offers a range of dental implant treatment options to replace one, several or all missing teeth.
A single tooth implant is used to replace one missing tooth. The treatment involves placing a titanium implant into the jawbone to replace the tooth root. Once the implant has healed, a custom-made dental crown is attached.

If you are missing several teeth, dental implants can be used to support a custom-made bridge. Instead of placing an implant for each missing tooth, a bridge is secured to two or more dental implants to replace multiple teeth.

For patients missing all or most of their teeth, four to six dental implants can be used to support a full arch of custom-made replacement teeth. This treatment option may be suitable for patients seeking an alternative to a removable full denture.

Every dental implant treatment begins with careful planning. Your dentist will examine your teeth, gums and jawbone before taking any scans needed to plan your treatment. A 3D CBCT scan provides a detailed view of your jawbone and surrounding structures, helping determine the most appropriate position for each implant before your procedure.
On the day of your procedure, your dental implant is placed into the jawbone under local anaesthetic. Depending on your treatment and individual needs, sedation may also be available. Procedure times vary, from a single implant to full-arch treatment, and your dentist will explain what to expect before the day of surgery.
After surgery, your implant needs time to heal and bond with the jawbone before your final restoration is fitted. This usually takes 3–6 months. During this time, you’ll attend follow-up appointments so your healing can be monitored. Once the implant has fully integrated, your custom-made crown, bridge or full arch of replacement teeth is fitted, completing your treatment.
The cost of dental implant treatment depends on your individual treatment plan, including the number of teeth being replaced and whether additional procedures are required.
Following your consultation, you’ll receive a personalised treatment plan outlining your recommended treatment and associated costs. We also offer a range of payment options, including third-party payment plans for eligible patients.
In certain circumstances, early release superannuation may be an option, provided you meet eligibility criteria. To learn more about about this, read here.
Prices are a general guide only and not a quote. Final costs depend on your personalised treatment plan following a clinical assessment by a dentist. Payment plans are offered through third-party providers and are subject to eligibility, terms and conditions. Additional fees may apply.
