Hybrid veneers are made from a blend of ceramic and composite materials and are designed to cover the front surface of a tooth. When clinically appropriate, they can be used to improve the visible appearance of teeth.
Hybrid veneers may be considered for patients with concerns such as:
Suitability varies by individual. Veneers are not appropriate for everyone, and outcomes and longevity will vary. Risks, alternatives, and full suitability are discussed during consultation.
Exploring Your Options: We offer a Complimentary Smile Discovery Session with a registered dentist. This is a no-obligation discussion to explore potential treatment options.
It does not include a full examination, X-rays, 3D scans, or treatment. A comprehensive consultation is required before treatment can be confirmed.

We’ll collaborate with you to design, test, and create your new smile, guided by your feedback every step of the way.
Our cosmetic dentists assess whether Veneers are right for you by understanding your story, smile goals and concerns. We also look at the way you smile, speak and bite, taking note of your unique facial structure and characteristics. This personalised approach allows us to provide a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
After assessing suitability for Veneer treatment, we complete comprehensive 3D scans of your teeth to commence designing your new smile and creating your unique set of veneers. You’re shown a preview of your predicted end result and smile design through 3D stimulation video technology, allowing you to see your predicted end result before even beginning treatment.
At this stage, we will apply your customised temporary veneers. Remember, your voice is essential to the final design, so feedback is crucial.
Once your custom veneers are ready, our dentists will temporary cement them on and give you a chance to review and approve before final cement is used and the veneers are carefully bond them to your teeth.
Once your final veneers are inserted, our team can help make refinements based on your feedback if necessary. We will also provide you with a night retainer/split to use at home to help protect your veneers.
When considering veneers, it’s helpful to understand the differences between porcelain, hybrid, and composite options. Each material varies in composition, process, and typical longevity.
Hybrid: A blend of materials (approximately 70% porcelain, 30% composite), custom-made in a dental laboratory. Typically completed over multiple visits across two weeks.
Porcelain: Made entirely from porcelain and crafted in a laboratory, usually involving several visits for preparation, try-in, and final placement.
Composite: A resin material applied and shaped directly on the tooth, typically completed in a single visit.
Longevity Considerations: Porcelain is generally the most durable, followed by hybrid, then composite. Hybrid may last around 8–10 years, composite 5–7 years, and porcelain 10–15+ years with proper care.
These timeframes are indicative only. Longevity depends on factors such as oral hygiene, diet, bite, and ongoing dental maintenance. Outcomes vary between individuals.

At Dental Boutique™, our veneers are entirely customised to you and your treatment plan.
Pricing for our veneer treatment is unique to every patient. Veneer treatment costs can vary based on the initial arrangement of your teeth, materials chosen, complexity of your case and treatment time required.

Veneers may be an option for some patients, but they are not suitable for everyone. Results, recovery, and longevity differ between individuals. The most appropriate way to explore whether veneers are right for you is through a consultation where your personal needs, risks, and treatment options can be discussed. For considerations and risks of treatment please see here.
Hybrid veneers may be considered to improve the visible appearance of teeth where there are concerns such as discolouration, chips, cracks, gaps, or mild misalignment. Suitability will depend on individual assessment.
In some cases, hybrid veneers can be planned to support bite and appearance, helping to create a more even smile. They may also provide additional coverage for weakened teeth, but they are not a substitute for restorative treatment such as crowns or extractions when clinically required.
Hybrid veneers generally sit between composite and porcelain veneers in terms of cost. Exact pricing will depend on your treatment plan. Payment options may be available — terms and conditions apply.
Each set of hybrid veneers is crafted in a dental laboratory and tailored to the treatment plan. While made from a blend of porcelain and composite materials, they are designed to integrate with your natural teeth in shade, shape, and size.
Hybrid veneers may be considered for patients who wish to change the visible colour, shape, or size of their teeth. The most appropriate way to determine suitability is through a consultation with a registered dentist. At this appointment, your teeth can be examined and your goals discussed so that all treatment options, risks, and alternatives are explained.
This is a common concern and also a frequent misconception. At Dental Boutique, the aim is to minimise tooth preparation wherever possible. However, depending on your current teeth and treatment plan, some preparation may be required to provide a stable surface for the veneer to be placed securely. Your dentist will discuss this in detail before treatment.
The average lifespan of hybrid veneers is around 8–10 years with proper care, good oral hygiene, and regular dental reviews. Longevity varies for each individual and is influenced by factors such as bite, diet, and maintenance.
In some cases, dentists may recommend treatments such as orthodontic alignment (e.g., Invisalign treatment) before veneers to optimise positioning, or professional Teeth Whitening to assist in matching the veneers to surrounding teeth. Whether these are appropriate will depend on your individual needs and treatment plan.
Please note that the outcome shown in the image is only relevant for this patient and does not necessarily reflect the results other patients may experience. Results, risks, complications, and recovery times vary by person and procedure. Treatment suitability can only be determined after an in-person consultation with a dentist, where your individual needs and circumstances can be assessed.
