Composite Bonding Adelaide

Teeth Bonding Treatment

Dental bonding, often known as composite bonding, is a form of adhesive dentistry that involves placing a tooth-coloured resin over a fractured, misaligned or misplaced tooth to restore its position, size, or form. The resin is connected to the substance of your tooth and aids in the improvement of your smile’s overall appearance.

Are you suffering from a damaged, discoloured, or misaligned tooth? Composite teeth bonding may be the treatment you need.

Damaged Teeth

Whether you’re suffering from damaged teeth caused by ongoing decay or you’ve encountered a physical injury that needs to be dealt with immediately. Your dentist at Dental Boutique will most likely utilise the composite bonding treatment to counteract such damage.

This goes for chips, cracks or snapped teeth. Dental Boutique specialises in emergency dental work – if you need a solution immediately, please do not hesitate to contact our team straight away.

Teeth Reshaping

Whether you’re reshaping canine teeth or fixing the excess gaps between your teeth, Composite bonding is a technique that can mitigate these issues.

At Dental Boutique, we use a tooth-coloured resin material to reshape your teeth, restoring form and aesthetics. If you require multiple teeth reshaped, we may recommend receiving porcelain veneers.

Correcting Alignment

Commonly, we have individuals come to us with a misaligned bite; this can cause dysfunctionality and prove every-day tasks difficult and frustrating. By adding our premium crafted resin to specific teeth identified in your pre-consultation scans, we can even out you’re alignment and bite.

Discolouration

Sometimes, a discolouration could mean that you have rot or decay affecting your tooth. You may require a filling or root canal. If this is the case, we recommend resolving this issue first. If the discolouration isn’t corrected after the treatment, we may suggest undergoing composite bonding or porcelain veneers.

We match the colour of the porcelain or resin to the natural teeth surrounding the discolouration, so you are left with an even colour and a beautiful smile.

Cosmetic dentistry is becoming more popular. After all, who doesn’t deserve the smile they’ve always wanted? As a result, choosing to restore the appearance of your teeth with a trustworthy dental clinic is essential.

More on the Dental Bonding Procedure

1

Step 1: Smile Design

  • We design your ideal smile based on your aspirations, facial shape, the colour of surrounding teeth, and personal characteristics.
  • We schedule a photo and video shooting session in our studio to collect information for a smile trial.
  • We preview and trial your new smile.
2

Step 2: Choose The Shade

Once you’ve been cleared for the treatment, your dentist will choose the colour of the material that looks most natural with your current set of teeth to ensure the filling appears as natural as possible.

You may collaborate with your dentist to select a hue that you like! We enjoy collaborating with our patients since it always provides us with the result that is reassuring and meets the preference of the patient.

Step 3: Application of Bonding

When your dentist determines that your tooth or set of teeth are ready, he or she will apply the resin, which is moulded and smoothened to the required form. The resin is hardened using blue ultraviolet light. Your dentist will then shape, polish, and trim it further to give your smile its polished appearance after it’s hardened.
