Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers at Dental Boutique™ are thin, custom-made shells bonded to the front of your teeth. At Dental Boutique™, we have our own trademarked range of porcelain veneers called VeneerMe™. These veneers are made from porcelain, a material commonly chosen in dentistry for its strength and resistance to surface staining.
Hybrid Veneers
Hybrid Veneers are made of a blend of porcelain and composite materials, combining features of both. They are designed as thin shells that cover the front surface of teeth and may be considered as one option for patients exploring cosmetic dental treatments. Hybrid veneers share characteristics of both porcelain and composite veneers, with differences in material properties, cost and maintenance requirements.
Composite Veneers
Composite veneers are a form of adhesive dentistry where your dental professional applies a tooth-coloured resin to the front surface of your tooth. The material is shaped and set during the appointment, usually in a single visit. Composite veneers may be considered for patients wanting to change the appearance of teeth with concerns such as minor chips, discolouration or irregular shape.

Longevity/ Durability
Our VeneerMe™ Porcelain veneers are a strong material that is generally more resistant to surface wear than resin. With good oral hygiene, regular dental care and appropriate maintenance, porcelain veneers may last on average 10-15 years.
Hybrid veneers offer a balance, blending porcelain’s strength with composite flexibility. Their durability typically falls between porcelain and Composite veneers are less durable, and on average may last around 5–7 years.
Composite resin is less resistant to wear compared to porcelain. It does typically require more maintenance overtime, on average may last 3-7 years.
Longevity depends on individual factors, such as tooth condition, bite, diet and oral habits. Results will vary from person to person.

Stain-resistant
The three veneer materials differ in how they respond to staining:
Porcelain veneers are made from a non-pores ceramic material, which is generally more resistant to surface staining compared to resin based options.
Hybrid veneers, combining the materials, their stain resistance typically falls between the two.
Composite veneers are resin based and can be more prone to discolouration over time. Stain resistance and appearance can differ depending on factors such as diet, oral hygiene and lifestyle habits.

Step 1: Discover

We also look at the way you smile, speak and bite, taking note of your unique facial structure and characteristics. Step 2: Design
After assessing your suitability for veneer treatment, we take 3D scans of your teeth to begin creating your custom veneers. During your consultation with your dentist, the simulation provides a preview to illustrate potential treatment options. Your dentist will explain relevant information about possible outcomes. The simulation is a visual aid only, does not guarantee results, and the final outcome will depend on your individual clinical situation and treatment plan.
Step 3: Decide
At this stage, depending on what type of veneers you have chosen, we will apply temporary veneers or begin the application process. Remember, your voice is essential to the final design, so feedback is crucial.
Step 4: Deliver
Your final veneers! Once your custom veneers are ready, our dentists will carefully bond them to your teeth, checking the fit, feel and look.
Step 5: Detail
Once your final veneers are inserted, your veneers are positioned correctly, you’ve provided any necessary feedback, we can help you refine your smile with additional tweaks and refinements. At home, you can continue to maintain and protect your smile with your custom take home whitening kit and night retainer.
