Dr. Ben Hargreave is the Director and Co-Principal Dentist of Dental Boutique Sydney. Ben is driven by his passion about helping clients on their journey towards a better smile, helping to make them feel confident and empowered. He graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Medical Science and a Bachelor of Dentistry with Honours. He has over 12 years of experience in cosmetic, surgical, and general dentistry.
Ben established himself in the lower North Shore of Sydney, focusing on general and cosmetic practice, where he later became a Principal Dentist, within two years of graduating. He led the expansion of North Sydney Dental Practice, in partnership with Dr. Kipel, which quickly became one of the largest cosmetic practices within Sydney.
Wanting to further his education, Ben completed his primary examination for entry into the Royal Australasian college of dental surgeons, and started to develop his skill set in facially driven aesthetic and surgical dentistry. Travelling to Asia, the USA, Europe, and South America, Ben undertook multiple residencies encompassing dental implants, Invisalign, digital smile creation with porcelain veneers, as well as facial injectables to enhance his patients’ smiles.
Dr. Hargreave is a leader in his field. He completed a post graduate diploma in dental implants and then partnered with the University of Sydney to supervise up and coming dentists studying in surgical and restorative implant dentistry. Ben has lectured nationally in the use of digital technology to enhance diagnostics and treatment, and was formerly a trainer in aesthetic facial injectables. He also holds a fellowship in the international college of dento-facial aesthetics in New York.
In his down time, Ben has a passion for cooking, wine, and the outdoors. On the weekend you will find him either handmaking pasta, abseiling down a canyon in the Blue Mountains, or scuba diving down at Clovelly beach looking for the perfect shot of a giant Blue Groper amongst the seaweed.
