About

Dr Jannen Tan graduated with Honours from the University of Melbourne in 2007. Following graduation, he moved to Queensland to begin his career in a successful, family-run general dental practice.

After completing Registrar training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in New Zealand, Dr Jannen joined a large corporate dental group, where he worked for over 12 years and quickly established himself as one of the organisation’s top-performing dentists.

Before joining Dental Boutique, Dr Jannen co-founded a collective of quality dental clinics united by a shared ethos of premium patient care and strong practitioner support. Under his leadership, the group doubled in size annually during its initial years of operation.

Passion

In 2025, Dr Jannen joined Dental Boutique as Principal Dentist, Implant & Surgical Director of Dental Boutique Implant Centres across Australia and New Zealand. In this role, he leads nationwide growth and innovation in implant and full-arch surgical solutions, while also providing mentorship and ensuring clinical compliance for dentists and surgeons across the group.

A passionate dental surgeon with a special interest in full-arch dental implants, including zygomatic implants, Dr Jannen continually updates his expertise through ongoing education and the adoption of the latest technological advancements to deliver the highest standard of care to his patients.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Jannen is a food and wine enthusiast, as well as an avid scuba diver and pilot.
