Andrea completed her Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Western Australia in 1991. She has worked in private dental practice as a general dentist.

About

During her time as a general dentist, Andrea became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian Society of Dental Surgeons in 1994. She was involved in coordinating the first-year university program for undergraduate dental students.
Andrea has published research papers in the Australian Dental Journal on Indigenous dental health.
She returned to university to complete a Master’s Degree in Orthodontics in 2005 and received the Postgraduate Clinical Award for Excellence in Clinical Presentation. While in Perth, Andrea continued to work in private practice and was appointed a Clinical Demonstrator for both the Undergraduate Dental Program and the Postgraduate Orthodontic Program at the University of Western Australia.

Passion

In 2009, Andrea relocated to the Mornington Peninsula and has practised orthodontics there for the past 15 years. She participates in professional meetings and ongoing training in Australia and overseas to stay current with advances in orthodontics.
Andrea’s approach to orthodontic treatment planning considers both dental alignment and changes to facial form in adolescent and adult patients.
