Born and raised in Brisbane, Dr Richard Zhu graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Queensland, where he completed a Bachelor of Dental Science and received multiple awards for academic excellence.

Dr Richard is known for his warm, approachable manner and genuine commitment to patient comfort. He understands that visiting the dentist can sometimes feel overwhelming, which is why he prioritises creating a calm, welcoming environment where open communication and trust come first. His guiding philosophy is simple: treat every patient with the same care, gentleness, and respect he would want for himself.

Passion

Dr Richard has a particular interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry and continues to develop his skills through advanced training and education. For Dr Richard, the most rewarding part of his work is seeing how a healthy, confident smile can positively impact a patient’s life.

Outside the clinic, Dr Richard enjoys traveling, making music, exploring new food spots, staying active, and spending time with his dog, Lily.
